Motherhood Photos at Newport Beach

When I tell you my jaw-dropped as my gorgeous client arrived on location for Motherhood Photos at Newport Beach, I mean… it took me a whole 5 minutes to compose myself. From the details of her wardrobe, to her sweet as can be baby, I was so excited to start snapping my shutter for their session.

Location

Our location was near the pier and perfect for a full sun day at the beach. The pier provided shade, a refuge from the crowd, and even added fun alternatives for composition in the portraits. We stayed clear of the water line to start, but you’ll see that by the end of the session the tide rose and we embraced it. We had the best time getting playful in the water.

Muse

Jasmine, my gorgeous client, is a young mama with an old soul. She knows the treasure motherhood is, and that this season should be celebrated. Her celebration of this gift shined bright throughout her session. I loved the wild abandon and freedom she embraced as I prompted her into poses with her sweet babe. There were even opportunities to photograph her nursing, which she was really excited to document. Towards the end of her session I asked Grandma to hold baby, so that I could photograph Jasmine on her own too. I loved getting this one-on-one time with Jasmine to celebrate her.
